Let’s explore another practical AI tool for HSE professionals.
Comet is an AI-powered browser created by Perplexity. It came into existence as a new way of browsing the internet, where the browser is not only used to open websites, but also helps us read, summarize, compare, research, and take action while we work online. It is built on Chromium and supports normal browser features like bookmarks, translation, and many Chrome extensions.

Perplexity describes Comet as a personal AI assistant inside the browser. It can help with web research, productivity tasks, email organization, summaries, and online decision-making.

Today, let’s take one simple but very useful example:

Step 1: Open a job posting
