What this course is..?
This OpenAI Academy lesson teaches us how to talk to AI like a professional, so we get outputs that are usable for work—not generic paragraphs.

Why this matters for HSE professionals..?
In HSE, the risk is not “AI making a mistake.” The real risk is we using AI output without control—wrong assumptions, wrong site context, wrong standards, wrong PTW rules.
This course helps us build a habit of giving AI:

The “HSE Prompt” structure:
The course explains the key components of a strong prompt, commonly framed as:
1) Context: What is happening? Where? Which industry? What’s the job step? What constraints apply?
2) Role: Tell AI who it is acting as (e.g., “HSE Advisor,” “Permit Auditor,” “Process Safety Engineer,” “Training Instructor”).
3) Expectations: Tell AI exactly what you want: output format, length, tone, and what to include/exclude.
