AI Built Specifically Around HSE Workflows
Most AI tools can talk about safety.
QuickInspect is different because it is an HSE management platform built around inspections, incidents, risk assessments, hazardous materials, permits, training, toolbox talks and corrective actions, with AI assistance integrated into those workflows. It works on iOS, Android and the web, and supports offline field work with syncing when connectivity returns.
Where could we actually use it?
We can use QuickInspect for practical tasks such as:
Incident investigation: draft a structured 5-Why analysis from descriptions, photos and supporting documents, with uncertain AI conclusions marked for investigator verification.
Photo hazard analysis: upload a workplace photo (be cautious while uploading photos) and receive suggested hazards, possible consequences and risk information for professional review.
SDS extraction: pull items such as hazard statements, PPE information, exposure limits and storage requirements from an SDS, with confidence indicators.
Risk assessment support: suggest hazards, controls and residual-risk inputs while keeping approval with the HSE professional.
Certificate checking: extract employee name, certificate number, training type, issue date and expiry date from a certificate image or PDF.
Inspection preparation: generate inspection questions from a topic or an uploaded document.
Training support: generate an editable microlearning draft with slides, quiz questions and narration.
A practical example:
Imagine we observe a damaged lifting accessory during an inspection.
Instead of starting with an empty report, we could:
Photo → AI-assisted hazard description → Risk review → Corrective action → Responsible person → Due date → Evidence → Closure
The HSE professional still verifies the hazard, risk rating and corrective action before anything becomes an official record. That is a much healthier use of AI than asking a chatbot to confidently invent what happened from one photograph.
Is it free?
QuickInspect is freemium, but there is an important detail we should state clearly.
The Free role costs €0 and provides basic access for participation and limited use.
So this is not a “free unlimited AI HSE platform.”
We can start free and explore the system, but the serious AI capabilities sit in the paid Standard tier.
Is it legitimate and reliable enough to explore?
QuickInspect is operated by QuickInspect Solutions GmbH, a registered company in Hamburg, Germany. The company identifies its Managing Director as Oliver Hoffmann and lists its German commercial-register details publicly.
The platform states that it provides:
EU-hosted data, GDPR compliance, encryption, two-factor authentication, biometric login, role-based access and audit trails. It also says the AI functionality uses Vertex AI / Gemini.
The product is also actively maintained; its website currently states it was last updated on 22 August 2026, with 21 releases over the previous 12 months.
For company use, we should still complete our own IT, privacy and supplier-security review before uploading real incident evidence, employee records or client-controlled information.
If AI can help us spend less time formatting reports, copying information and chasing paperwork, we can spend more time where HSE professionals actually create value:
Observing the work, questioning the controls, speaking with people and verifying that actions really work.
That is where technology should take us.

A thought for our HSE fraternity
> “The best use of AI in safety is not to make decisions for us. It is to help us reach better decisions with less administrative friction.”
