1.Go to the ASSP site: there’s a product page for “Safety Trekr AI + Safety Professionals Handbook, Third Edition”.
2.You’ll need an ASSP account (login or create one).
3.Purchase of the handbook + the AI tool gives you access. The tool itself is built to search the handbook’s content.
Is it free…?
Not entirely.
Key points:
• The tool is not free for unlimited use. You must buy the handbook (or the combined handbook + AI tool package) to get access.
• If you purchased the handbook prior to June 30 2025, you get the AI tool access until December 31 2025 (as per FAQ).
• After that period (or in the regular purchase scenario after July 1 2025), you get one year of access with the purchase (as noted).
So, effectively: you pay once (for the handbook/package) and get access for a defined period – not a fully free perpetual tool.
If your company / organisation already uses ASSP material or is willing to invest: go ahead and purchase the combined handbook + AI tool.
If budget is tight: check whether ASSP offers any regional pricing, student discount, or partnership (since you are studying/working in HSE) – you might negotiate access.
